What is your official title and job description?

I am the Community Manager at Artem Wynwood, a 189-unit apartment home community, in Wynwood Miami. Together with my team, we offer the best customer service for our residents to make them feel at home.

What is your Quarterra story (how did you land at Quarterra)?

I applied for an open position as community manager at Adela Mimo Bay. As soon as I walked in for my interview, Amber Budney and Nicole Skerrett made me feel a sense of belonging.

I was later transferred to assist GM Harold Penaloza at Vesada in Doral while Artem was being built.

I became the Community Manager at Artem when they opened in October 2022.

Tell us your favorite thing about working at Quarterra?

First and foremost my boss, Amber Budney, has not only shown me what a great leader she is but also teaches me every day how to be a better one for my team!

Secondly the company culture! We have amazing people working and they all make me feel like it’s a true family!

What's your favorite Quarterra Core Value?

Integrity. Everyone not only in my team but also the people that I have met throughout the company have always conducted themselves in a very professional way.

What are you most looking forward to in Quarterra’s future?

I am looking to continue to lead my team and grow with the company. In my experience, I have noticed that talent is always recognized and rewarded. I can see myself being at Quarterra for years to come.

Bio/Quarterra Accolades:

Originally from Nicaragua, I moved to Miami at the age of 12 with my father. I graduated from Miami Dade College in 2013. My first job in the multifamily industry was in 2015 as a Leasing Professional, where I learned the industry and loved it. In 2018 I became the community manager of a 360 apartment home community. Later I was transferred to West Palm Beach where I gained experience in lease-ups. Fast forward to 2021, I was relocated to Miami, where I applied to be the community manager at Adela at Mimo Bay, for Quarterra. I truly enjoy my role here as a Community Manager at Artem and I am looking forward to continuing my growth.
