LMC Announces Start of Leasing at The Whitney Apartments
LMC has announced the start of leasing at The Whitney, a mixed-use apartment community located in the heart of eclectic Flagler Village in Fort Lauderdale.
The two-tower high-rise, which features 386 apartment homes and 2,223 square feet of ground-floor retail space, is located in the epicenter of the artsy neighborhood and features immediate access to several local breweries and coffee shops. The community offers co-working spaces that provide residents the capability to work from home, and select homes include a smart-home package that complements the area’s creative vibe. The leasing office is now open and move-ins began on Oct. 30.
“Flagler Village has a unique atmosphere, where high-end shopping and luxury apartments join a hipster-inspired, artsy neighborhood,” said Michael Pelczar, VP of Development, South Florida for LMC. “The neighborhood has become one of the most desirable locales in Downtown Fort Lauderdale over the past decade, and we’re thrilled to welcome The Whitney’s first residents to the community. We’re eager to provide them with a top-tier experience that complements the neighborhood and exceeds expectations in the market.”
Located at 120 NE 4th Street, the community features a 14- and 25-story tower, which boast expansive views of the city. The larger south tower features water views from its upper floors. Select homes are equipped with smart-home technology, including a Ruckus Router, Sonos One with built-in Amazon Alexa voice control, electronic roller shades, a Lutron Pico remote for dimming lights and controlling speakers and Honeywell thermostats for smart temperature control.
Residents can easily connect with Fort Lauderdale’s abundance of dining, shopping and entertainment. An All Aboard Florida/Brightline express train station is less than three blocks to the west, which connects from Fort Lauderdale to several key destinations, including Miami, West Palm Beach and, coming soon, Orlando. Residents who prefer to drive are within minutes of Interstate 95 and two blocks from US Route 1.
The MASS District (Music & Arts South of Sunrise) and Flagler Arts and Technology District are contained within Flagler Village, and the community is a short commute from several prominent employers in the downtown area, including AutoNation, Citrix Systems, DHL Express and numerous financial institutions. In addition, several beaches, parks, museums and cultural attractions are easily accessible from the community.
The Whitney consists of studio, 1-, and 2-bedroom apartments ranging from 512 to 1,719 square feet with 1-bedroom den layouts available. Apartment interiors are delivered with dark and light finish options, including quartz countertops (eggshell for dark, concrete light for light), custom cabinetry (winter bark for dark, moonlight for light) and different shades of backsplashes. All homes are equipped with GE Profile appliances, hardwood-inspired tile flooring, keyless entry, full-size front-loading washers and dryers, spacious closets with wood shelving and designer tile backsplashes. Select homes include oversized and wrap-around balconies.
The smoke-free community offers a deluxe suite of amenities, including a third-floor sun deck with lounge seating, heated swimming pool with spa and grilling areas, dual-level fitness center with Cybex equipment and Hoist MotionCage, speakeasy bar, community lounge with bar and reading room, multipurpose room with gaming tables and a business center with private conference pods and a boardroom. Residents also have access to a dog spa with dog run, digital package lockers and bicycle repair and storage.
