Employee Spotlight: Juan Ceron - Service Supervisor

What is your official title and job description?

My official title is Service Supervisor for Emblem Conyers. I have the privilege of working with an astounding team to help in successfully launching the beginning phase of the community.

What is your Quarterra story (how did you land at Quarterra)?

My story with Quarterra begins in 2012 when I was hired as a Maintenance Technician for their very first multifamily property — The Oakes at Jones Creek. My story continues when I was hired as a Service Supervisor for Quarterra's first in-house built property, Roswell City Walk in historic downtown Roswell. From that point on, I have had the amazing opportunities of being able to help at the start-ups and to effectively contribute to the launching of each new developed community in Georgia, including the first Emblem property. I oversee the progress of each unit and building as well as set up a productive and effective maintenance department.

Tell us your favorite thing about working at Quarterra?

My favorite thing about working at Quarterra is THE PEOPLE!. I have had the honor of working with remarkable people, from the development team, construction team, managers, company leaders, and leasing team which all have contributed to my growth and knowledge.

What's your favorite Quarterra Core Value?

My favorite Quarterra core value is SUPPORT. I can honestly say that since I began with Quarterra, I have received nothing but boundless support when it comes to resolving difficult situations or questions.

What are you most looking forward to in Quarterra’s future?

GROWTH! I never want to stop learning and growing here at Quarterra. One of my main passions is to help and mentor in whatever area that I can be of use. Therefore, in order for me to accomplish this, I make it a priority for me to learn and grow every day in my knowledge and experiences.

Above all, I am first a husband and father to 3 kids (2 boys 1 girl). I became HVAC & Refrigeration certified from Prince George's College in 2001. I found my passion for working in the maintenance field when I was 18 years old. Now, 26 years later, that passion has developed into a love for helping people and for mentoring.
