Employee Spotlight: Amanda Lynch - Fund Controller

A lot of individuals will claim they are driven by passion and purpose, but our own Amanda Lynch, fund controller, truly walks the walk. She is passionate about implementing change and working hard to positively impact the lives of others. When she found her way to Quarterra, she was captured by our ability to Move - not only within our industry but as a company. We promise you will feel her passion when you read her spotlight!

What is your official title and job description?

My title is Fund Controller and I support the Quarterra Single Family Rental Business (SFR). I am responsible for the finance, accounting, investor reporting and compliance functions for QuarterraSFR.

What is your Quarterra story (how did you land at Quarterra)?

My Quarterra story started in 2021 when I had the opportunity to join the newly formed single family rental investment platform. I was energized by both the amazing leadership team as well as the social mandate of providing affordable, newly constructed single family rental housing to families across the U.S.

Tell us your favorite thing about working at Quarterra?

Definitely the people! I have the privilege of working with an amazing cross functional team who are committed to being the best versions of themselves each and every day.

What's your favorite Quarterra Core Value?

My favorite Quarterra core value is “Move” – it’s so rewarding to be a part of a company that empowers its associates to make a difference. I love that Quarterra is laser focused on driving quality, innovation and challenging the status quo to embrace challenges and solve problems for our partners. It’s also a lot of fun to be a part of a company that is constantly on the move and looking for opportunities to be and do better!

What are you most looking forward to in Quarterra’s future?

I am eager to see what new opportunities are presented as Quarterra continues to forge its own path as a best-in-class asset manager. I think great things are to come for Quarterra and I am excited to be a part of the journey!

Bio/Quarterra Accolades:

I was born and raised in Canada, where I graduated from Acadia University with a degree in accounting in 2011. After graduation, I started my career in public accounting at a Big 4 firm, spending just under 10 years serving clients in the real estate industry. It was during this time that I fell in love with all thing’s real estate, which ultimately led me to Quarterra! I currently live in Charlotte, North Carolina, with my husband and two young daughters.
