We Made The List!

For the sixth consecutive year, LMC has been recognized among the top 10 on the National Multifamily Housing Council’s Top 50 Developers list. The eight-year-old company was listed No. 4 on NMHC’s 2020 list, which reflects 2019 activity.

LMC also checked in at No. 12 on NMHC’s Top 25 Builders list, marking the company’s fourth consecutive appearance as a premier builder. The list had previously been known as the Top 25 General Contractors.

The rankings reflect LMC’s most robust year from a development standpoint, as the company started 6,726 homes, including 3,917 as a general contractor. Both represent single-year benchmarks, and the total starts signify more than 2,100 more than the previous year.

Among the communities on which LMC broke ground in 2019: Ovation (Seattle), Odin (Minneapolis), Amara (Portland, Ore.), The Fynn (Elmhurst, Ill.), The Ellis (Charlotte, N.C.), The Mitchell (White Plains, N.Y.) and The Smyth (Stamford, Conn.).

The NMHC Top 50 is a collection of the National Multifamily Housing Council’s authoritative rankings of the nation’s 50 largest apartment developers, 50 largest apartment owners, 50 largest apartment managers, 25 largest builders and 10 largest syndicators. NMHC began its annual rankings of developers and builders/general contractors in 2015.
