Dolphins Cancer Challenge

IMG 6964

The Dolphins Cancer challenge was launched in 2010 as the signature initiative of the Miami Dolphins Foundation. 100% of participant-raised funds goes to innovative cancer research at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami. Over the past 10 years, DCC Participants have raised over $27.5 million dollars for cancer research. In both 2019 and 2020 LMC participated in the Dolphins Cancer Challenge 5K and 52-mile bike ride. The 8 racers in representing LMC in 2019 raised an impressive $14,834 in donations! This worthy cause is championed by LMC Southeast Divisional President Chris Cassidy. Chris describes the DCC race as “one of the most rewarding and satisfying fundraising events I have ever been a part of. All of us have a friend or family member that has been touched by cancer and I can’t think of a better way to help raise money for cancer research and have so much fun in the process.”
