What is your official title and job description?

I am the Community Manager at The Ellis, a 549-apartment home community, in Uptown Charlotte.

What is your Quarterra story (how did you land at Quarterra)?

I started with Quarterra as a Leasing Professional and transitioned to Assistant Manager at Odin, in Minneapolis, MN. After my husband and I got married in January 2022, we planted roots in Charlotte, and where I was able to transfer to The Francis as an Assistant Manager and within a few months became the Community Manager. While I loved my time at The Francis, I was excited for a new opportunity and I have been at The Ellis since March of 2023.

Tell us your favorite thing about working at Quarterra?

My favorite thing about working at Quarterra is the culture that everyone has worked so hard at establishing. The friendships and mentors that I have met in my three years working here are something I will cherish forever.

What's your favorite Quarterra Core Value?

My Favorite Core Value is quite simple – Help People. Whether it is a simple smile in passing, an ear for listening, or an extra hand for assistance, we can Help People without even knowing it, just by being kind.

What are you most looking forward to in Quarterra’s future?

I am most excited about the new communities that we will be adding to our portfolio. With the new communities, come new associates and new growth opportunities. We have the best product and the best associates in the industry, so it’s something to be extremely excited about.

Bio/Quarterra Accolades:

I was born and raised in a small town in Illinois. My first big-boy job was as a Flight Attendant with Delta Air Lines. I was with Delta for 10 years until COVID-19 hit. While I was in the airline industry, I was lucky enough to travel the world (Iceland takes #1) and experience many cultures but I was ready for a change. That change brought me to Quarterra, and I couldn’t feel luckier. My husband and I moved to Charlotte in 2022 with our Cockapoo, Linda. This move allowed us to be closer to family, with hopes of starting our own very soon.
