Associate Spotlight: Megan Mahoney, Marketing Director

Through her tireless efforts, strategies are crafted that ultimately spread the word about our housing families and drive growth.

Her years in the industry have made her a reliable authority on multifamily marketing procedures and tactics. And just as importantly, her friendly nature and positive energy make her a welcome part of the LMC team. Let’s hear from Megan a little bit more of her experience and what she loves most about working for LMC!

What is your official title and job description?

I am the East Regional Marketing Director and I oversee the marketing efforts for our operating communities as well as assist the development teams in branding our beautiful communities and introducing them to their neighborhoods.

What is your LMC story (how did you land at LMC)?

One name --- Jodi Harrison. Jodi and I worked together in a past life at Post Properties. She reached out to me when the position opened up and I couldn’t help but jump aboard after hearing all about LMC and the company values.

Tell us your favorite thing about working at LMC?

My favorite part about working at LMC is the people and the culture. Everyone works very hard and helps each other out. You don’t often hear someone say “that is not my job” and no matter what the task, everyone jumps in to get it to the finish line. I also like the fact that we are a growing company and that leadership is willing to try new things to make us stand out amongst our fellow competitors.

What's your favorite LMC Core Value?

Can I say “Suck at Softball”…Just kidding. Pursue the Future…I think this is a perfect description for LMC. As a company, we are always looking at ways that we can grow together. Whether it is building a new community or starting a new initiative, everyone works as a team to make sure that we are the best of the best.

What are you most looking forward to in LMC's future?

The continued growth and new initiatives. From LMC Smart Apartment Homes supported by Amazon to innovative amenity spaces, our communities continue to amaze me and each one that opens makes me so proud to be a part of the LMC team.
