Associate Spotlight: Juan Islas, Regional Service Supervisor

Juan Islas started his journey with LMC in 2017 as Service Supervisor at Shift in San Diego and stood out immediately as a super star in his role! He was always up for the next challenge and started assisting at other LMC properties. Juan exemplified our Core Values, always willing to rise to the occasion and displaying great leadership and team work. In February of 2018 he was promoted to Regional Service Supervisor for California and Pacific Northwest!

We are so proud and lucky to have Juan as part of the LMC family, always up for the next challenge, supporting his teams, and adding so much positivity to our culture! When he's not busy being an LMC superstar, you can find this native San Diegan BBQing with his family while rooting for the Rams! Let’s hear from Juan a little bit more of his experience and what he loves most about working for LMC!

What is your LMC story?

My journey with LMC began on October 2^nd 2017 as the Service Supervisor at Shift in downtown San Diego. I was tasked with establishing the maintenance operations of a high rise lease up community. As I was working at Shift, I was also asked to assist at different properties. It was such a great experience to be able to see the different stabilized properties in the portfolio. In February, I was promoted to my current role, Regional Service Supervisor for California and Pacific northwest. I assist the onsite maintenance teams with their day to day operations. I am very thankful for the opportunity and am very excited for what the future holds here at LMC!

Tell us your favorite thing about working at LMC?

It has to be the people. LMC has some of the most genuine and helpful people. I am very thankful for my peers.

What are you most looking forward to in LMC’s future?

What I’m looking forward to the most is the opportunity for growth and innovation. The sky is the limit for LMC!
