What is your official title and job description?
I am the Director, Governance, Risk & Compliance. As a member of the Information Security & Privacy team, I manage the organization’s security and privacy risks related to our people, processes, and systems to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Quarterra’s data.
What is your favorite part of your job?
Being able to engage with all parts of the business and use both my creative and analytical brain to do that.
What's your favorite Quarterra Core Value?
People. Collaboration. I’ve found the team at Quarterra to be some of the most genuine people I’ve ever worked with. We do exceptionally well at teamwork and collaboration for the good of the company.
What are you most looking forward to in Quarterra's future?
Seeing the other side of the rainbow!
I started with our parent company Lennar just over 6 years ago as the Security Project Manager in Miami. From there I moved into the Governance, Risk & Compliance team in the Enterprise Security Office and continued to fall in love with Information Security.
When my husband and I decided to move to Denver in 2019, Quarterra was the perfect next step. I started my professional career as a Construction Project Manager so getting to work with our Construction team has really been a full circle experience.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?
I already have one, ADHD!
