Sam Freda joined Quarterra in 2018 and oversees both Asset Management and Revenue Management. With 19 years of experience in the multifamily industry, Sam has held previous roles in Portfolio Management, Research/Analytics and Asset Management.
He has worked at several industry leaders including BlackRock and The Irvine Company. Sam has experience in overseeing all major property types including large multifamily portfolios. He was Asset Manager of nearly 20,000 units in Northern and Southern California while previously at The Irvine Company, as well as leading the budgeting process for their 60,000-unit portfolio. Sam has expertise across all phases of the multifamily lifecycle including pre-development, lease-ups, stabilized operations, acquisitions, renovations, and dispositions. In his current role at Quarterra, Sam is responsible for all aspects of Asset Management, including Revenue Management, budgeting, underwriting support, and appraisal process. Sam has an MBA in Finance from Seton Hall University and currently offices out of the Southern California office.
