Renee Lewis

Renee also oversees contract administration policies and processes, including those related to Lennar’s General Contractor services, and partners closely with the Lennar team on their accounting and reporting standards for Quarterra communities. Additionally, she supports technical accounting oversight and policy governance for the organization in conjunction with the corporate accounting team. Renee first joined the Company in 2016 as a Division Controller, playing a vital role in supporting the Central Division’s development of 3,400+ units during her tenure, representing a total development cost of $790 million. She also contributed to the successful implementation and expansion of Quarterra’s Emblem program, driving successful completion of 2,800 units ($650m of cost) and growing. Renee also served as Director of Accounting Policy, during which time she partnered with the Chief Accounting Officer to establish Quarterra’s standalone financial controls, policies, and processes, and technical accounting functions. Before joining Quarterra, Renee spent seven years at Grant Thornton in the audit practice with a focus on real estate and hospitality clients, including both public and privately-owned companies. Renee holds both a Master of Accountancy (2009) and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (2008) from the University of South Carolina. Renee is also a licensed CPA in North Carolina. Outside of work, Renee is actively involved in the community as a regular platelet donor through the American Red Cross and as Treasurer for her son’s Cub Scout Pack. In addition, Renee and her two children are Reading Buddies at the Humane Society of Charlotte, helping foster children's love for reading while giving shelter dogs the socialization they need for successful adoption. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children at the beach.
