Renee Lewis currently serves as Senior Director, Operations, at Quarterra, leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of company-wide business operational processes. A key focus of her role is driving centralization efforts to enhance efficiency across all platforms.
Renee also oversees contract administration policies and processes, and partners closely with the Lennar team on their general contracting operational, accounting, and reporting standards for Quarterra communities. Additionally, she supports technical accounting oversight and policy governance for the organization in conjunction with the corporate accounting team. Renee first joined the Company in 2016 as a Division Controller, playing a vital role in supporting the Central Division’s development of 3,400+ units during her tenure (cost of $790 million). She also contributed to the successful implementation and expansion of Quarterra’s Emblem program, driving completion of 2,800 units ($650m of cost) and growing. Renee also served as Director of Accounting Policy establishing Quarterra’s standalone financial controls, policies, and processes, and technical accounting functions. Before joining Quarterra, Renee spent seven years at Grant Thornton in the audit practice with a focus on real estate and hospitality clients. Renee is a licensed CPA and holds both a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. Outside of work, Renee is a regular platelet donor through the American Red Cross and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
