Michael Hass serves as Managing Director of Development, leading Quarterra’s Florida division and overseeing new multifamily development initiatives across the state. He is responsible for guiding the divisional team through the full project lifecycle, including sourcing new land for development, entitlements, capitalization, design and construction execution, optimizing for marketability and efficient operability, lease-up, and disposition.
Michael joined Quarterra in January 2026. Prior to Quarterra, he served as Senior Vice President of Development at Bainbridge Companies, a NMHC Top 25 multifamily development and management firm, where he led the sourcing and development of new communities as well as assisting with acquisition targets. Prior to Bainbridge, Michael owned his own development business, Drive Development Partners, which led ground-up and value-add multifamily and senior living projects across the country. In all, Michael has been involved in more than $3 billion of project value and 12,000 multifamily, senior living, and single-family units. Michael has a Construction Engineering degree from Iowa State University, is a licensed general contractor in Florida, and resides in Palm Beach Gardens with his wife and family. His career includes active roles in ULI Product Councils, AGC, local and regional real estate executive groups, national trade organizations, civic and non-profit board positions, and a wide range of volunteering opportunities. He and his family are active members of Family Church in West Palm Beach and enjoy travel, supporting his older children’s Auburn Tigers, and his youngest’s high school sports.
