Matt Miller serves as Managing Director of Development, leading Quarterra’s Texas division and overseeing new multifamily development initiatives across the state. He is responsible for guiding the divisional team through the full project lifecycle, including land acquisition and entitlements, design and construction execution, lease-up and disposition.
Matt joined Quarterra in December 2025. Prior to Quarterra, he served as Vice President of Development at Wood Partners, a national multifamily development firm. During his tenure, Matt played a key role in sourcing, designing, financing and delivering 4,600 units representing $940 million in total capitalization across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Matt holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in real estate finance from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma. He is an active member of the TouchDown Club of Dallas, a men’s charity supporting the Ashford Rise School of Dallas, and serves on the Advisory Board of SMU’s Folsom Institute for Real Estate. Matt resides in Dallas with his wife and son. He and his family are active members of Highland Park United Methodist Church and enjoy spending time in the mountains pursuing outdoor recreation.
