As Senior Managing Director and CFO at Quarterra, Justin McDaniel oversees all finance, accounting, risk management, and legal operations across the company’s national platform. With a strategic lens and deep operational expertise, he plays a critical role in guiding Quarterra’s financial health and governance.
Justin is a member of the company's Investment Committee. In his previous roles at Quarterra, Justin led enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function (2022-2025) and served as Development Controller for Quarterra’s $12 billion multifamily development portfolio (2017-2022). Before joining Quarterra, Justin held senior leadership positions at Cintra and M/I Homes, where he was responsible for overall P&L management and investment underwriting. His career began at PricewaterhouseCoopers, laying a strong foundation in financial discipline and advisory services. Justin holds a BSBA from The Ohio State University and is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in Ohio. He currently lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife and three daughters.
