Grier Galloway is Vice President of Debt Capital Markets at Quarterra, where he is responsible for the sourcing, execution, and ongoing management of debt capital across the company’s multifamily and single-family rental portfolios, including interest rate hedging and lender relationship management. Since joining Quarterra in 2022, Grier has executed $2 billion in new debt transactions across the company’s development and stabilized assets.
Prior to Quarterra, Grier’s experience spans capital markets and real estate lending across both balance sheet and securitized platforms, including roles at AlphaFlow and Finance of America Commercial (a Blackstone portfolio company). In these roles, he oversaw the execution of more than $415 million in loan acquisitions and sales to institutional investors and supported whole-loan trades and securitizations with annual volumes exceeding $1 billion. His responsibilities included transaction execution, credit and portfolio oversight, underwriting, credit risk, and investor and lender relationship management. Grier began his real estate career at Lerner Enterprises, supporting asset management and financial analysis across a portfolio of office, retail, and multifamily assets in the Washington, DC metro area.
Grier holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Clemson University. He is based in Charlotte, NC, where he lives with his wife and two children.
