Emily Mecartney

Emily joined Quarterra in April 2025. Prior to Quarterra, she spent five years at Home Partners of America, a Blackstone Portfolio Company, from 2020 through its merger and wind-down in March 2025. During her tenure at HPA, Emily built and led three new teams: Internal Audit, Procurement, and Operational Excellence, playing a central role in developing operational, risk, and compliance frameworks within the single-family rental industry. Earlier in her career, Emily worked at W.W. Grainger, Inc., where she held roles in Internal Audit and Operational Excellence, and at BDO USA, LLP, where she began her career in public accounting. She is a licensed CPA and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Illinois Wesleyan University. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Emily serves on several homeowners association boards and is a licensed Realtor. She resides in Greenville, South Carolina, and enjoys DIY home renovation projects, spending time outdoors, and life with her dogs.
