Doug Bober serves as Executive Managing Director of Quarterra’s National Operations team, where he leads programmatic multifamily product innovation and expansion, process optimization, human resources, and corporate communications. Before assuming this role, Doug served as Division President of Quarterra’s Emblem Communities platform, driving the programmatic development of suburban attainable housing nationwide.
Doug also played a key role in Quarterra’s integration with Lennar, aligning operations for long-term growth. With more than 25 years of experience in homebuilding and multifamily development, Doug has led transformative initiatives across product design, operational protocols, and strategic development. Since creating the Emblem platform in 2019, Doug has overseen the development of 2,800 units, representing $650M in investment. Prior to Emblem, Doug led the development of over 4,000 market-rate units with a total cost of $1.2B as Quarterra’s Central Division President. Before joining Quarterra in 2012, Doug served as Division President for Lennar’s Chicago homebuilding sector and held multiple leadership roles at Pulte Group. Doug earned a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Illinois and resides in suburban Chicago, IL with his wife and five children.
