Dan Lee joined Quarterra in May 2018 and is currently the Managing Director for the Northeast Division. Originally from Oyster Bay, NY, Dan received both his BBA and MBA degrees from Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
After starting his career as a real estate lender in Manhattan, NY, Dan shifted focus and moved into multifamily development in 2005 and has worked for multiple institutional developers including Gables Residential (Florida), Alliance Residential (Florida), and Greystar (DC Metro & Boston, MA), plus a 3-year stint at Fannie Mae during the Great Financial Crisis. He currently resides in Boston, MA with his wife Claira, their 7-year-old son Paxton, and their rescue dog Archie. In his current role with Quarterra, Dan oversees the pursuit and development of multifamily communities in the Mid-Atlantic, New York Tri-State Metro, Philadelphia Metro, and New England, and manages a team of 7 development and construction professionals in those markets. In his career, Dan’s development teams have delivered (or are in the process of delivering) approximately 4,500 multifamily units totaling approximately $1.4 billion in total capitalization, with product types including garden, podium, wrap, high-rise, and Active Adult. In his spare time, Dan coaches his son’s Little League Baseball teams, enjoys watching and playing sports with his family, and is a passionate donor/fundraiser for animal rescues and local charities.
