Dalton Gress serves as the Senior Director of SFR Fund Management at Quarterra. In this capacity, he offers strategic and operational leadership for an extensive portfolio comprising more than 4,000 build-to-rent single-family homes, spanning 12 MSAs. Dalton applies over a decade of experience in the single-family rental sector to enhance asset performance. His responsibilities include supporting acquisitions and dispositions, fostering investor relations, and overseeing third-party property management.
Before joining Quarterra in 2022, Dalton was a Vice President at Gorelick Brothers Capital, where he focused on the firm’s SFR funds. His role involved acquiring approximately 1,000 scattered-site assets across more than a dozen MSAs. Additionally, he provided asset management support for nearly 3,000 homes within these funds. Dalton holds a BS in Mathematics and a BBA in Finance from Francis Marion University. He is a CFA charter holder and member of CFA Society North Carolina. Dalton currently lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife and three children.
