Allie Smith is Vice President of Multifamily Fund Accounting at Quarterra, where she leads accounting operations for all Multifamily real estate funds. She oversees audits, tax compliance, investor distributions, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and transparency across fund activities.
Allie joined Quarterra in 2019 and has played a key role in supporting fund financial reporting and investor reporting. Before joining the company, she held financial leadership roles at Newland Real Estate Group and began her career as a Tax Associate at Grant Thornton LLP, with earlier experience at Hearst Corporation. She holds a Master of Accountancy from UNC Charlotte and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from NC State University. A licensed CPA in North Carolina, Allie is a member of the North Carolina Association of CPAs and previously volunteered with Heart Math Tutoring.
Outside of work, Allie enjoys spending time with her husband, two young boys, and their energetic cocker spaniel. Their favorite activities include exploring the North Carolina mountains and her hometown of Charlotte, NC.
